Gothia Cup - Sweden 2025

We're thrilled to announce that BFA will be participating in the 2025 Gothia Cup!

Since our first participation in the Gothia Cup in 2007, we have proudly taken part every year. Experience the excitement of the world’s most diverse youth soccer tournament, held in the scenic city of Gothenburg, Sweden. 

This event offers a week of intense soccer matches and a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and personal growth, drawing nearly 1,900 teams from around 75 countries.  

This tournament will take place from July 13 till July 19.

Location : Gothenburg, Sweden

Trip Duration :  6 Nights, 7 days

2007-2008-2009-2010- 2011-2012-2013-2014

Fees and Costs

• Player Fee: $2,000 per player (excludes Visa fees)
• Includes:
• • MEA flight ticket
  • Full board accommodation
  • Bus transportation
  • Insurance
  • Bed rental for the duration of the tournament
  • Access to a physiotherapist
  • Tournament registration

Payment Details

• Initial Payment: $1,000 due before March 8

Accommodations

• Players and Coaches: Will be accommodated in school classrooms.

Requirements for Lebanese Citizens

• Passport: Must be valid for more than 6 months
• Required Documents:
• • Photocopy of the passport
  • One-time Schengen visa application
  • Visa Application must be signed by the parents
  • Photocopy of both parents' identity cards
  • Photocopy of old visas + Entry and exit Stamps
  • Original Bank Statement for the past six months.
  • Travel approval signed by both parents (in English or French)
  • School registration documents (in English or French)
  • Four passport-sized photos with a white background
  • 'Ikhraj Keid' for the family (translated copy)

Requirements for Players with European/American/Canadian Citizenship

• Passport: Photocopy required, must be valid for at least 3 months

All required documents must be prepared and submitted to the BFA Administration by May 7.
